another try

Posted : 16 years, 2 months ago on 13 August 2008 03:31 (A review of Midnight Reign (Vampire Babylon))

I decided to give the series another chance and this time I enjoyed it. This story is actually a story and left me wanting to read more.

Major Disappointment

Posted : 16 years, 10 months ago on 17 December 2007 12:08 (A review of I Am Legend)

After reading the book I was hoping for a great vampire movie but this film was not a great vampire movie. It did have it's moments but it wasn't anywhere near as good as the book. They used zombies instead of vampires and they barely even showed them. The book was well written and had a point. This movie had no point. While it would have been okay to take the movie and make it different from the book, this movie changed the point. The point was he was the only survior, making him legend, the vampires used to be legend but then there were so many of them. The man was the last man and he fought until the end. Will Smith ran away throughout most of the movie. It was too different from the book. It's the first movie I've ever been to where people walked out and said they didn't get it.

wow

I didn't think Josh Hartnett would pull off the role of Eben, but he did. It was a great movie, although some parts were funny, this was the best horror movie I've seen in a long time. I just wish they'd stuck to the comic a little more. Mostly towards the end and where the stranger was concerned.

Night Rising: Vampire Babylon Book One review

Posted : 17 years ago on 19 October 2007 01:42 (A review of Night Rising: Vampire Babylon Book One)

This book lacks a lot. It doesn't have a good plot or hero. In fact, I hate the hero.

Mr. Woodcock review

Posted : 17 years, 1 month ago on 17 September 2007 03:50 (A review of Mr. Woodcock)

It wasn't as funny as I thought. Most of the funny stuff was used in the commericals so it wasn't funny anymore at the movie.

30 Days of Night: Immortal Remains (v. 2) review

Posted : 17 years, 1 month ago on 9 September 2007 11:48 (A review of 30 Days of Night: Immortal Remains (v. 2))

It's turning out to be an interesting book, although I am only about a hundred pages into it at this current time.

Halloween review

Posted : 17 years, 2 months ago on 2 September 2007 11:49 (A review of Halloween)

This movie was better than I thought it would be(from Rob Zombie, I thought it would only be gory and pointless). I think it would have been good as a stand alone movie and not as one of the series. If it wasn't a remake I think I'd have liked it better. The only thing really the same in this movie was the names. It didn't follow the same plot and it really wasn't what I thought it would be. I liked how they went into Micheal's past and showed what he went through, but in the orignal he was a six year old boy who only killed his sister with no reason for doing so. In this one he was a troubled ten year old with lots of reason to kill those who wanted to hurt him. He was a normal psycopath, so when he got shot he should have died. He killed more people in this one. Some points were good, I just thought it should have followed John Carpner's story better. Also, I hated Dr. Loomis in this one, he wasn't a wise doctor, he was selfish and stupid.

The only funny part was that dance he did. The rest was just hours of boredom.

Zodiac (Widescreen Edition) review

Posted : 17 years, 3 months ago on 4 August 2007 04:20 (A review of Zodiac (Widescreen Edition))

A long movie, with many boring parts. The text at the end was small and blurry and the movie seemed to go on forever, only showing a few of the killings and not even talking much about the letters this killer wrote. This movie was a huge disappointment.

Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria review

Posted : 17 years, 3 months ago on 30 July 2007 03:20 (A review of Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria)

I strongly dislike this game. It's very slow paced and doesn't have an interesting story. It doesn't hold my attention.
